Brake Service

Brake pads, rotors, calipers, and fluid service done right. Free visual brake inspection included. Walk in or call us and we will take a look the same day.

What We Do

Your brakes are the most important safety system on your vehicle. Worn pads, warped rotors, or low brake fluid can all increase stopping distance and put you at risk. We inspect, advise, and repair honestly. No unnecessary upsells, ever.

Every brake job starts with a thorough inspection. We measure pad thickness, check rotor condition, test caliper operation, and assess your brake fluid. Then we give you a clear picture of what needs attention now and what can wait.

We include a free visual brake inspection with every service visit. If you are unsure about your brakes, come in for a free look. No commitment required.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my brakes need service?

The most common signs are squealing or grinding when you press the brake pedal, a soft or spongy pedal feel, pulling to one side when braking, vibration through the steering wheel, or a longer stopping distance than usual. If your brake warning light comes on, have the system inspected right away. Do not wait if you hear grinding; metal-on-metal contact damages rotors quickly.

What causes brakes to squeak?

A high-pitched squeal is often caused by a wear indicator built into the brake pad, which is designed to alert you when the pads are getting thin. Squeaking can also be caused by dust or moisture on cold mornings, which typically clears after a few stops. Persistent squealing means the pads should be inspected. Grinding usually means the pads are worn completely and the metal backing plate is contacting the rotor.

How long do brake pads last?

Brake pads typically last between 30,000 and 70,000 miles depending on driving style, vehicle weight, and pad material. City driving with frequent stops wears pads faster than highway driving. Aggressive braking shortens pad life significantly. We check brake pad thickness during every service visit so you have time to plan before they reach a critical level.

Do I need to replace rotors with my brake pads?

Not always. We measure rotor thickness and check for warping or deep scoring. If the rotor is within manufacturer specifications and the surface is smooth, we may resurface rather than replace. Severely worn, warped, or deeply grooved rotors should be replaced to ensure proper braking performance and to protect your new pads.

What is a brake fluid flush and why does it matter?

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air over time. As moisture content rises, the fluid's boiling point drops, which can cause brake fade under heavy use. Most manufacturers recommend flushing brake fluid every two to three years. Fresh fluid also protects internal brake components from corrosion.

Can I drive with a brake warning light on?

A brake warning light should be taken seriously immediately. It may indicate low brake fluid, worn pads, or a problem with the ABS system. Some causes are more urgent than others, but you should have the system inspected the same day if possible. Continuing to drive with a brake fault risks longer stopping distances or complete brake failure.
