Oil Change & Inspection
Fast, thorough oil changes with a free 22-point inspection included. Conventional, synthetic blend, and full synthetic available. Most vehicles ready in 30 minutes.
What We Do
Oil is your engine's lifeblood. Fresh oil lubricates moving parts, carries heat away from the engine, and keeps contaminants from building up into sludge. Skipping or stretching oil changes is one of the most common reasons engines wear out early.
At Ideal Auto, we make oil changes quick and honest. We use the right oil grade for your vehicle, replace the filter, and reset your oil life monitor. Our technician performs a 22-point inspection at no additional charge, so you leave knowing the full health of your vehicle.
Walk-ins welcome. Most vehicles are in and out in about 30 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I change my oil?
Most modern vehicles using full synthetic oil can go 5,000 to 7,500 miles between changes, and some up to 10,000 miles depending on the manufacturer recommendation. If you drive primarily short trips, in extreme heat, or tow frequently, shorter intervals are safer. Check your owner's manual and we can advise based on your specific vehicle.
What is the difference between synthetic and conventional oil?
Conventional oil is refined from crude petroleum and works well for older or lower-mileage engines. Synthetic oil is engineered at the molecular level to resist breakdown at higher temperatures, flow better in cold starts, and last longer between changes. Most vehicles built after 2010 are designed to run on full synthetic.
What does your 22-point inspection include?
Our technician checks tires, brakes, battery terminals, belts and hoses, all fluid levels, lights, wipers, and visible suspension components. We note anything that looks worn or needs attention and walk you through the findings before you leave. There is no charge for the inspection.
Can I wait while my oil is being changed?
Absolutely. Most oil changes are completed in 30 minutes or less. We will let you know upfront if we see anything during the inspection that might add time.
Do I need an appointment for an oil change?
Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours. No need to book ahead for a standard oil change. If you have a tight schedule, calling ahead helps us have your bay ready when you arrive.
What oil brand and grade do you use?
We use quality motor oil that meets or exceeds your vehicle manufacturer's specifications. We will match the viscosity grade listed in your owner's manual, whether that is 0W-20, 5W-30, or another specification. Ask us about available brands when you arrive.
